Description
Woman’s dress, consisting of bodice and matching skirt, in yellow corded silk and cream silk satin woven with small roses and ribbons. Bodice with standing collar at back, v-shaped neckline, wide lapels tapering to waist. Elbow-length sleeves puffed into shoulder, turned-back cuffs. Waistline with twisted, pleated panel. Lined with cream cotton, labelled ‘Logie & Ramsay'. Skirt, full length, centre front with white net embroidered with flower motifs and border in light cream silk and metal thread, asymmetric sides, fullness gathered into centre back and extending into squared-ended train. Lined with yellow silk. Worn by J Binnie, wife of Mr Marshall.
